Our annual fundraising yard sale is this week! Come shop great deals and support our mission on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, August 1-3 from 8am to 4pm at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1915 N. 1st Street, in DeKalb. There will be a great selection of household goods, clothes, furniture, books, and more! All proceeds from the sale support Tanzania Development Support. In addition to being an opportunity to raise money, the annual TDS Yard Sale is an enjoyable social experience and an important occasion to learn more about TDS and the positive impact of educating girls everywhere.
TDS is seeking donations of salable items and volunteers to help with the sale. Volunteers are especially needed on Tuesday, July 30 and Wednesday, July 31 to help organize and set up the sale, and the afternoon of Saturday, August 3 to take down the sale.
Donations of salable items will be accepted on Wednesday, July 31 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, but individuals can contact TDS to coordinate an alternative drop off time or day.
